Ambassadors

The Milton Area Chamber of Commerce MAP Program consists of 12-17 Ambassadors that represent 10-13 businesses each. Ambassadors are encouraged to introduce themselves to the members and frequently share information with these businesses regarding upcoming events, training, seminars, networking sessions, or any opportunities that would provide value to their membership.

The purpose of the Ambassadors is to act as a liaison between the MACC membership and Board of Directors. The Ambassadors shall act as hosts/hostesses for MACC functions, recruit new members, welcome new businesses and professionals, attend Welcome Ceremonies, groundbreakings and Business After Hours, contact existing members and act as the public relations arm of MACC. Being an Ambassador provides the volunteer extended business contacts through active association with volunteers and members, professional and community recognition for both the volunteers and their firms and expanded communication and marketing skills.

~Meet the Ambassadors!~

Leslie Hulick

I was born and raised in Milton and am glad to have the opportunity to give back to my hometown through my involvement in the chamber. I am proud to call Milton home with my husband, Al, and our sons, Grant and Bennett. As an ambassador, I represent my employer, Blackhawk Community Credit Union, who has been serving residents of Milton for over 50 years. I look forward to working with business leaders in our community to inspire growth and opportunity in Milton.

I’m a Partner at Hagen CPA, LLC. And I have been with the firm since 1999. My favorite part of my career is preparing individual tax returns and being out in the community marketing the firm. I enjoy being an Ambassador for the involvement in the community. I enjoy attending ribbon cuttings to meet the new members and their staff. I enjoy working with my assign members helping them get the best of their membership. My favorite event is the Milton Malts & Hops because this way I have an excuse to by a new Halloween decoration each year to display at the event. I love spending time with my husband Jeremy and our family. We are enjoying our hobby farm which keeps us busy with the goats, pigs, Mini horse, horse, chickens and the dogs. I enjoy spending time up north at our property, hiking, traveling, reading and playing with the horses. My key to success is to be positive, dream, and set huge goals to achieve.

I was very fortunate to grow up in Milton and graduate from Milton High School in 1991. I love the small town atmosphere that Milton provides. The Milton Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador program has allowed me to meet new people and businesses in the Milton area. In my position at Milton High School, I am able to connect with students and work to create career opportunities that benefit them. I love being able to unite a student with an employment opportunity and on the reverse side; help the business find suitable employees. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, baseball/softball games (Go Brewers!), volleyball games, and winning at bingo. :)

I was born and raised in Janesville, but I have been active in the Milton community for over 25 years. Milton continues to provide wonderful opportunities for our family! My husband, Steve and I have three girls: Emily, Brittany and Ashley (AJ).

As a lifelong Milton resident and graduate of the class of 2014, I am very proud to be able to call Milton my home and represent it through my involvement as an ambassador for MACC, a member of the Historic Preservation Commission and as an Alderperson for City Council. I have always had a strong belief that if you are passionate about something, you should get involved in any way you can, and coming from a family that has deep roots in Milton’s founding, I am very passionate about our community. I am very appreciative of the opportunities that being a part of the MACC ambassador program has offered me, from meeting and networking with new people and businesses to attending exciting events that benefit our members and community. Professionally, I am a leasing agent with Walker Property Management & Realty Group, LLC out of Janesville, where I am involved in all leasing operations for just over 1,000 residential and commercial rental units in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. I am also a licensed Realtor specializing in investment, residential, and commercial properties. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, golfing, volunteering at community events, and spending time with loved ones.
